I am pleased that you have come to my website and hope that you will find a number of things of interest.

The first is my latest book, When Cancer Calls...Say Yes to Life. In 2003 I was diagnosed with a rare and virulent form of leukemia. This book is a story not only about my life before cancer, but about my journey through this dreaded disease and how patients, caregivers, and their loved ones can better survive a cancer diagnosis. In addition, I provide helpful suggestions for ways the medical community can better improve patient care. You will see that there are excerpts from some of the chapters on the pull-down menus at the left.

Another book is The Business Perspective 2002-2006: Exploring Public Policy Issues Through the Lens of Business. This book is a compilation of weekly columns I wrote on important public policy issues while I served as president and CEO of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
